Thomas Goldstone. Born in Wales,1993. Lives and works in Bristol (UK). Thomas has developed a multidisciplinary practice as an artist and designer, creating not only physical things but encounters, situations and events as art and design.
Having graduated from UWE (University of the West of England) Bristol with a Bachelors in Fine Art & Visual Culture in 2015, he went on to be involved in several exhibitions across Bristol, Bath and Cardiff (three of which he both exhibited in and curated), three residencies in Bristol and a 6th month placement at Spike Island (Bristol).
Thomas graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2018 with an MA in Design (Expanded Practice). Here he undertook work experience with Unlimited & Shape Arts (Artsadmin), was selected to present a project at the BSI Conference Awards (British Standards Institute – with whom he worked with for a term) and was co-curator of the first ever Design Expanded Practice degree show.
He is currently working full-time at UWE Bristol Library Services (Library, Careers and Inclusivity) within the Digitisation team. He is also under-taking a part-time, funded MCs in Information Management (based at the university's Computer Science and Creative Technologies department which sits within the Faculty of Environment and Technology) as a part of a 2-year graduate traineeship.
